American Solutions for Business Holds Summer Conference

"Celebrate Victories" was the theme for the 2004 Summer Conference held by American Solutions for Business (ASB), Glenwood, Minn. More than 330 sales associates from across the United States attend the four-day event at Cragun's Resort near Brainerd, Minn. In addition to seminars and workshops, 210 vendors participated in a vendor show on the last day of the conference.

At the awards banquet, Founder and President Larry Zavadil named sales representative Jim Klempka of Sioux Falls, S.D. as this year's recipient of the President's Award. The honor is given each year to an individual who shows dedication to the ideals and principles of ASB, and demonstrates a commitment to improve company practices for the benefit of all. Klempka has been a sales associate with ASB since 1996.

The company's Rookie of the Year award was awarded to Tracy Hernandez of Lincoln, Neb. and Robert Argiro of Castro Valley, Calif. Rookies are honored for demonstrating the ability to attain or exceed goals, while achieving a level of professionalism. The Sales Associate of the Year award was presented to Barry Sikes and Bill Schermerhorn, a sales team from Colfax, N. C. The award is based on dedication to company goals and contributions to ASB. Calibrated Forms, Columbus, Kan., was named ASB's top vendor. Each year, the top vendor is selected by company sales associates based on volume, service and commitment.
