Ennis Names Newlin GM of Paso Robles Facility

Rob Newlin recently joined Ennis, Midlothian, Texas, as the general manager of its Paso Robles, Calif. facility. He comes to Ennis with nearly 17 years of industry experience, 14 of which were spent with Chicago-based Moore Wallace (formerly Moore Business Forms). In his new position, Newlin will oversee the day-to-day operations of the plant, and will report to the forms group division manager, Dale Donati. He is a graduate of California Poly State University with a B.S. degree in Graphic Communication and Printing Management. Ennis Consolidates Mass. Facility, GFS Completes Sales Kit

Ennis, Midlothian, Texas, recently announced the consolidation of its plant in Medfield, Mass., with its facility in Chatham, Va. Ennis added the Medfield facility as part of the July 2004 Crabar/GBF acquisition. Additional Ennis locations in Leipsic, Ohio; Coshocton, Ohio; Columbus, Kan. and Princeton, Ill. will receive equipment from the Medfield facility and handle select orders based on customer needs. Ennis management expects the consolidation to be completed by August 31. In other company news, General Financial Supply, a supplier of financial and security documents and part of the Ennis Financial Solutions Group, recently completed the redesign of its catalog and sales kit.

Ennis Announces Retirement of CFO, Declares Quarterly Dividend

Ennis, Midlothian, Texas, recently announced that its vice president of finance and secretary, Harve Cathey, CFO, will be retiring. Cathey, who has served as the company's CFO for more than 15 years, did not set a definitive date for his departure and has agreed to stay on while a search is undertaken for a successor. Walters, chairman, president and CEO, recently announced that Ennis' board of directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend of 15-1/2 cents a share on its common stock. The dividend is payable on Aug. 1 to shareholders of record on July 15.

Ennis Releases New 2005 Apparel Catalog

Ennis Consolidates Eastern Locations

Ennis, Midlothian, Texas, recently announced the consolidation of its Edison, N.J., plant with its Coshocton, Ohio, and Medfield, Mass., plants--part of the original transition plan to reduce fixed overhead to realize greater efficiencies from the Crabar/GBF acquisition, of which the Edison and Medfield facilities were part of last July. The Edison facility will transfer business, equipment and personnel to the Coshocton and Medfield locations over the next three months and permanently close thereafter.
