One year has passed since Hurricane Sandy struck the East Coast and recovery efforts continue for those hit the hardest. 4over Inc.’s<\/a> Moonachie, N.J., plant was one of the businesses that was gravely impacted. The devastation to the plant was, in fact, quite massive-they literally had fish in their pressroom, but what’s truly inspiring is how quickly the facility bounced back.<\/p>\n

“We re-opened and expanded by adding new state-of-the-art manufacturing horsepower to an already impressive lineup. We have now dramatically increased our capabilities in this important market,” said Yiannis Lykogiannis, 4over’s VP of Operations.<\/p>\n

Despite the storm damage, the company was determined to do everything in its power to resume service to their clients and to continue fulfilling print orders. 4over employees and managers worked diligently around the clock to get the facility back up-operations began again in early January and by April, they were back to operating at 100 percent production.<\/p>\n

Technicians were employed to fix damaged equipment, and equipment that was destroyed beyond repair was promptly replaced. In the interim, the Moonachie plant utilized other 4over facilities to pick up some of the slack and to ensure orders were fulfilled in a timely manner.<\/p>\n

Today, thanks to hard work and new equipment, not only is the facility operating at full production, but the production flow is even more efficient than it was before the storm. This means that 4over’s Moonachie plant is bigger and stronger than it ever has been. The company’s dedication to excellence, coupled with an inherent commitment to the customer, is what got them through Hurricane Sandy and what continues to propel them forward. Their power to withstand hardship is a testament to 4over’s staying power.<\/p>\n
