Kodak Hires New Team Leader

Kodak recently hired Jean Engelke as future product marketing manager for Flexo Solutions.

Most recently serving as Print Services Leader for Alcan Packaging, Engelke will leverage her experience in print production to help drive the development of new, innovative solutions designed to meet the changing needs of package printers.

"I am very fortunate to be joining Kodak at such an exciting time," said Engelke. "Their focus on the packaging market is evidenced by significant contributions in prepress equipment and material innovations that are driving the quality of flexo packaging to new levels. I look forward to working with the marketing and development team to continue this initiative and to identify new opportunities that will further advance development in the market."

Engelke has held previous roles in product marketing and technical leadership, developing standardized workflow procedures and cost-saving production policies for large packaging operations. In addition, she has been active in the Package and Label Gravure Association (PLGA) and Flexographic Technical Association (FTA), serving as Chair of the upcoming 2010 FTA Forum in Las Vegas in May. She also has written a number of journal articles and spoken at many industry events.
